There is definitely something special about that setting for recurves. All summer I have been shooting my Locksley Lion at around 7" 6/8 and it's been pretty good a hair faster but not as accurate by a touch but I made the decision to go ahead an adjust the brace to 8" and might I say there is a very noticeable difference. I think I'm gonna leave it be and sharpen my broadbeads up. Just seams like with even the hair of adjustment it slowed it down. Gotta love traditional archery and the flight of a well executed shot and placement!!!! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Jeff, take two of the arrows you currently shoot and strip the fletching off and keep them in your quiver. As you shoot and get into a cadence, mix the bare shafts into the mix and watch the flight. This is one of the best indicators of arrow spine/brace height you can use. Usually if your bare shafts impact to the left of your fletched shafts you need a tad more brace( assuming you are right handed) If your bare shafts hit with the nock pointing to the left you are under spined.
