I am posting for a friend, that has 750+ acres, in morgan/noble county, its all mostly wooded, with some hay fields, land, no crops.
its a famaily onwed farm, for several generations, and has seen little hunting the last few years, only one or 2 guys have been given permission, but I am sure some people sneek on it, gust only a couple have actual permission, to hunt, and if leased, only the lease will have it then!
he is thinking of leasing it,
with NO gun hunting on the property
    bow hunters only!
    and no outfitters
there is a house on it, that he might be willing to include in the deal.
he is looking for SERIOUS offers, not looking to give it away!
so be honest, with prices, for what its worth, if you had it, I guess
and i will pass on the offers, and get back to anyone that he will interested in!
for more info, let me know

750+ acres and wont allow gun hunting? some one would have to have some coin to lease that many acres!

In Illinois it is 15 to 35 bucks per ac. In the down turn I have seen some leases come down in price this year. I know of a great pice of land about 170 ac. that will not get leases this year. People just do not have the money. I made them a offer of 1,700 buck and they would rather not lease it than take the money I offered.

How much is he looking for out of this? I have a few friends who may be interested ( and if the price is right, myself included! :D)

right now, he is open to offers
he has been told that land can go as high as 20+ an acre to about 7 bucks.
so, I guess if you can offer something in that range, he would most likely be willing.
so come up with an offer, Pm me, and I will pass it on, and then from there , you's can talk
    I guess!

    thanks for the feedback.
But the way this guys wants to do it, so as to keep the locals out and such, is he is looking for people that are interested in this offer to talk first, then if there seems to be a real interest, they can get either aerial pic's/maps/topo's, or better yet come and look at the property.
He just doesn't wnat to have it up for all to see where its at!
since the place , like I said, has had very little hunting on it, I am sure, that many people that find a place like this these days, might be a little tempted to tresspass, or crowd the borders of it.

    So, if anyone is interested,
    let me know!
