It was a letter from Sansa to Bran I think. Said the king was dead and Joffrey was on the throne or something to that effect.
I think the letter is the one Cersei forced Sansa to write asking winterfell to bend the knee to king Joffrey. Oh he's good. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Wife and I were just discussing that. Is John legit? That's gonna be awkward. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Just to be sure folks want to read my thoughts and don't mind potential spoilers, click the spoilers tag if you wish to read on . Spoiler Yeah, if Rhaegar and Lyanna were properly wed then that makes John a legitimate Targaryen. I don't think it'll end up being very awkward where it seems they're headed. The show is building chemistry between John and Daenarys pretty well. I like the way they seem to hold each others gaze to increasingly stronger extent as we go along. Daenarys really didn't want to let John go north and the way John caught himself staring at her profile on that cliff was funny. Drogon just confirmed Johns heritage and even gave us a nice wink to confirm R+L=J. Gendry is back and that was satisfying, love the hammer and he and John's first meeting. LOL at Davos and the comment about still rowing, nice nod to the old fan meme. Little Finger thinks he's so smart but I think the Stark sisters are going to show him what happens when a wolf gets ahold of a finger.
Oh yea.... John has the right to the throne and it was confirmed by Drogon and that scene ... it should not be a problem as the Targaryans are an incestual people, but The Breaker of Chains is one prideful ***** Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
It's getting interesting, seemed like a build up episode, but was well done and not super duper extra boring like the walking dead does. Dany looked like a child that lost her puppy when Jon left, Jon did the right thing, once she starts moving clothes and tampons in, life is ruined....wait, what were we talking about... Anyway, I noticed that meisters (spell check) mentioned after dismissing Sam that a "drowned god" would rise to destroy Aegon, wonder if this is hinting at something I don't want to spoil that may happen in the next episode. Not necessarily exactly what was said, but the rising of something. LF is a shady pos, yet it seems like his shelf life is about to expire. It almost seems like they are keeping him around just to use a pawn for...Sansa? or Arya to kill, maybe help push Sansa over some edge into a "ruler". I don't know, but I do not see much use to his character in the show anymore. Next episode looks awesome, maybe a smaller scale Hardhome battle, but cooler and freozener, and awesomer.
I've been watching this guys youtube page for quite sometime now. He's pretty good, and has some great theories. Here is his recap of last nights episode. if you have not watched last nights episode, then don't watch this video. It provides no future spoilers.
I know where this show is heading but I can't help but feel a little anger toward John and his constant poor decisions. I think they'd have been better off had John bent the knee, joined forces with Daenerys and finished conquering the south lands. As far as we know, the Night King is contained by The Wall that's held them at bay for millennia, it seems like him going up there is asking for trouble and just a device for giving the Night King a way through the wall that he has not had so far. It seems to me like Cersei is the bigger threat at the moment being the wall is protected from the others by magic. Once the war in the south is finished, John and Daenerys would have all the armies at their disposal. I guess that would not make for such a dramatic story if the main protagonists were grossly overpowered.
I think John was right when he said, people of the north would not support a southern ruler, they are stubborn as all hell. John has made mistakes, but is still by far my favorite character, his heart has always been in the right place. Jorah looked like he was waiting for Dany to bend her knees....and once again he got put in the friend zone.
Jorah is in the dad zone more than the friend zone, especially now that John has caught Daenery's eye. I think Sir Jorah is either going to have to sacrifice himself or accept he and Danny ain't happenin. I disagree about the northerners. Ned led the northerners to accept a southern king in Robert and they were under a southern King for generations with the Targaryens. Furthermore, if John survives the wars with the others and his heritage is made known, the northerners will have to accept a southern king at some point, albeit he'll be half Stark as well but still.
Yeah your right, I forgot about that. First thing that came to my mind was John telling what I said to Dany in the cave. But you are absolutely correct.
