I may have jumped the gun but I turned in the team name Rutting for punishment and myself as captain when I informed Chief we were 100% checked in. Image1599077690.600156.jpg
Finally put together one of these bad boys with practice blades about to go test them out a little bit

Little jealous of you here. I would love to have a setup like this to manage. At 6 to 10k an acre It will likely not happen. Rooting for a successful season on your new property. What does an acre go for down there?

The one thing about this logo was that it’s mule deer fighting. Just bringing that to you attention as I couldn’t find a silhouette of whitetails fighting in that stance. The colored version was a good one.

    I’m good with anything. 395F64D4-B44C-4BBE-B156-72C25108AD7D.jpeg

It really depends on what type of land your looking for and location. I’m my area of the state you can find land anywhere from 1000$-3000$ per acre for rural recreational land. That usually means young pines, cutover or just a ticket. The higher price usually gets big timber. Also no crops in my neck of the woods.

I have to say I have been shooting better this year. 20 and 30 yards were never a problem but 40 always seemed too fuzzy and my groups were just satisfactory. I put a verifier peep in and I am shooting so much better at 40 now.

It’s going to be a long wait for that first sit.

I have probably put in 5 acres of food plots and it has a small house place on it so it probably has 175 acres of woods. A lot of it is thick timber it opens up down around the creek.

I don’t think it was perfect but it was close. I was struggling for some reason with being shaky and jerky and I had bugs biting my legs while I was trying to shoot. I’m gona give it another go this weekend and see. Might have to turn the bow down a little I added weight to the front of my arrow last year because I broke my arm and had to turn my bow down. I turned it back up this year. Might be a little under spined or might just need a little tweak of the rest I’ll figure it out
