If anyone is looking here are both of my cars. 26k for the 68 2 door and 17,300 for the 4 door. PM for more details and pics.
The 68 has had nothing body or paint wise done to it since I've had it the past 11 years just mechanical stuff, the 65 was pretty much a full restore. New crate motor, rebuilt the 2 speed powerglide. Ill post some before pics of it. I had it shipped out from Nevada so the body was solid but the sun beat the hell out of it.
I got to drive a souped up 68 on the freeway from two harbors mn to Duluth, pegged the spedo took a while after I let off to come off pegged. It was awesome.
That 68 was a quick car, didn’t handle the best that’s what made me white knuckle when driving it fast. Good straight line car.
Brings back the memories of the muscle cars! Anyone watch the car auctions on TV. Cars selling many times their original price. If I still had my '66 Corvette, I could pay off my mortgage.
I think I have 3 options. 2014-2019 corvette, 1980-1987 4 wheel drive Chevy short box(not lifted) or down payment on land when I get out of this hell hole. If I don’t get the vette now I don’t think I ever will have the cash again.
