I pretty well keep up with this forum and haven't seen this go around yet. I've known about it for a while but just don't ever think of posting, so here it is..

100 Pack Duracell CopperTop Duralock Batteries: AA or AAA | Groupon

 

Maybe I'm behind the times but I've never purchased from Groupon. I thought they were just the medium that provides the coupon that could be used at select places. I really would like to get 100 AA's for cameras, what's the scoop on buying from them?

 

I've never ordered from them either, but I think that you get tangible items shipped and delivered while you print coupons like oil changes and restaurant deals.

 

I have had bad experiences with buying bulk alkalines.... many that i got were well below 1.6v out of the package. Take that however you may, 67% is probably well worth the risk.

 

What's the difference in buying bulk batteries? They all come from the same place, right?

 

I'm not sure, but I used a multimeter and the bulk duracells I got were terrible. Maybe it's all quantities but I never tried on small pack sozes

Is there a reason you test every battery?

 

Cameras were dying really fast, I found out I was putting half dead batteries in them straight from the pack
