See an eye doctor maybe... Could be you're just not seeing as well as you once did. I know its an issue for me even though I am still only 29 (haha)... for the 20th time.

My facial features (yep, chubby cheeks and whiskers) dont allow me to paper tune.

I can get a bullet hole but at distance (past 40) I really start to notice the centershot is off.

Ill do a walk back tune to 40 yards in 3 shot groups.

After they are all on-ish the line I am shooting at I broadhead tune with a fixed head, usually a 2 blade since they seem to be the hardest to get set right. I do this at 30 yards.

BH tuning lets you know real quick if you have spine or form issues.

Remember, move the rest to mke the BH move to the fieldpoint.

You have centershot set with walkback shooting then you go and move the rest and throw the certershot off with broadhead tuning? Thats not the right thing to do. To get the broadheads with the field points, moving your rest should be the last thing you should do. Raising or lowering the poundage of the bow is the first thing I would do. The next thing to try is different arrow spine or point weight.

To the OP, the Easton Tuning Guide is a great resource and this would most likely help you fix your problem.

You realize as little as a 1/32" adjustment can bring fp's and broadheads together and centershot be dead on. Most can't shoot fine enough to know if they are dead on with walk back. I now prefer french tuning. Much more precise but i wouldn't hesitate to make a minor adjustment to the rest if broadheads were off a little. Chances are french tune will still be dead on.

Adjusting the poundage is great next step if french or walk back showed centershot is off after broadhead tune. That would reveal a spine issue.

    This.

When I mive the rest for broadheads, Check walkback again. If its off, time for poundage change.

Spine us fairly easy to see if its quite a bit off though.

Generally after a walkback if the arrow is obviously pointing right (right handed shooter) at brace, the spine is stiff. Pointing left the spine is weak.

That is unless your shimmed wrong or crazy cam lean or....:D
