So, my dad just ran over his bow It's his PSE Mossy Oak X that my brother got him last year. He had to pull his boat out for work tomorrow. He had been practicing in his yard and set his bow at the edge of the woods. When he pulled up to the house he had to turn the boat around. It was a tight fit and as he made his last move... CRUNCH! The Silverado did some damage. The good- The riser, string, cams & limbs were flat and have no damage The bad- cable slidebar New G5 optix sight soft-loc quiver 4 practice arrow ripcord rest... all done for! I'm calling my shop tomorrow to see if They can get everything in ASAP. Problem is, the shop is 2 hrs away. What I'm really hoping is that I can talk my dad into going down there and picking up a whole new rig all together. My brother got a bow with way too long of a draw and I already swapped cams for him once. I'd like to see him pick up a Z7 Tach We'll see. Either way, there's a lot of work to do before Saturday!! Poor guys feels like CRAP.
Man that sucks. I have a spair bow if he don't wanna buy a new one now I can send him if it will fit It has a 28 inch draw set od 55 lbs all you need are arrows
Oh man that totally sucks. Hope he can get it all put back together and sighted back in before the opener! Better now though then 6 days before the rut!
Well, a new cable guard is on order. It has to be sent from PSE to the shop. Then I think we'll head on down there and outfit the MO X back into order. Maybe he can use my wife's bow for opener?
Thanks for the offer Hoyt! I think we'll get buy though. Just goes to show the upstanding group of guys and gals on this site! Perhaps I'll have a camera man opening day ... better make room in the canoe.
If you can't find what you need up there let me know. I can pick it up and get it as far as Hibbing Friday. I know that pushing it but at least you'll have it ready (maybe) for Saturday Grant
