Bruce, have you ever ordered from that guy? I would love to order a dozen heads from him. What are the shipping costs from Australia? Thanks.

I called AlaskaBH and asked about where the broadheads were made and I was told they are made in Korea with Japanese steel, I also asked about the rumor I heard about Silver Flames being bought back by a German company and being made in Germany again and was told no that AlaskaBH still has the rights and is still producing the Silver Flames. I was also told that the quality is as good as it ever was.

Depends on the set-up, but for my compound I use Carbon Express Rebel hunters with 125 grain Muzzy three bade heads. they total 512 grains with plain nocks, more with fire nocks.
My recurve is shooting P.O. cedar shafts tipped with 190 grain Grizzly ElGrande' heads. Total weight for them is around 700-750 if I remember right.

Word is that German Kinetics is back manufacturing Silver Flames in Germany. You might want to go straight to the source at their web site for the originals and avoid taking a risk on the more expensive, dubious quality ones from ABS.
