Hello all, this is my first post. Today I bought my first bow. I got a Hoyt Rampage XT. All I can say is wow! I have never in my life shot a compound bow in my life until today. I had no Idea how powerful and smooth a modern bow could be. I used to shoot an old Bear recurve when I was a teenager, it was nothing like this. It's set at 60# with a 27" draw length, shooting 400 grain Easton carbon arrows. My local pro shop was awesome, they took me by the hand and got me set up, I couldn't be happier! I was so excited I went to the range in the rain to shoot it.

Welcome to the forum! That's some good shooting for anyone, especially just starting out. Also, nice choice with the Hoyt!
