Cant wait for shed season!!!! Last year I started on I think January 22nd. So roughly 5 more weeks till I start lookin! Depending how the winter goes anyway I might wait till mid Febuary we'll see. I haven't seen or got any pics of shed bucks have you guys? I found 117 (so far) last this year.
I'm working on training three lab mix dogs to hunt sheds....a lot of work. One just has no desire at all to retrieve so that's quite a challenge. I can't wait for shed season, I enjoy that as much as deer season and mushroom season. I have quite a collection so far.
I work in forestry and find most of my sheds by accident. I'll have to pay a little more attention this year...
Checked my camera today. Had all 3 mature bucks we've had pictures of in front of the camera in the last 2 weeks, all still carrying both sides. I've never seen one drop before February so I'd love to see some early dropping! Also, when can I come shed hunt with you HoytHunter?? Nice pictures!
