    Rain is back in the forecast and they are saying the worst of the wind is going to be Saturday afternoon. This sucks. Sunday is going to be nice in the afternoon, but we have Olivia's (my daughter) birthday party.

    In Texas it starts October 1st... I don't want it to start any earlier though.. It too hot in September! Heck its been in the 90's probably half of the days so far this October! I have family that hunts in New York.. Up by the finger lakes.. My uncle kills huge deer every year up there. Upstate New York is awesome! Sucks you have to wait so long for bow season though..

    Finger lakes is not upstate. Fingerlakes is midstate, when you get above Watertown then your getting there. Poor signature too bud.

    I always thought upstate was the rest of NY outside of the island ....

    Anyway ... 0 sleeps left before I can hunt ... stayed home and I don't regret it .... it is just NASTY out there ... 30 MPH sustained wind with 60 MPG gusts and offand on heavy, driving rain ... how about the rest of you from NY?

    That's up there on the top 5 worst conditions I've ever hunted in. WOW that was just downright nasty. I sometimes question my sanity. Good action in the AM though. 4 young bucks and 5 does all together. Spike was with 5 does trying to get it on with all of them lol. Nothing in the afternoon except 50mph wind gust, rain hitting me in the head like someone was shooting BB's at me. Just horrific conditions, probably should've bagged the PM hunt.
