Is pretty much all that is left in my pursuit of an Ohio archery buck. I doubt I'll make any more trips after this weekend. I'll enjoy my time here in PA hunting small game and does with my longbow. Although I am likely to try out the gun season over there in a few weeks. Good luck to all this weekend, especially the PA guys still looking. 2 more days to get it done.
I wish you nothing but the best Ryan... now that my buck tag is filled, I am gonna try for a turkey tomorrow and Saturday evening.... after that, I am on to pheasants and rabbits, with a little coyote hunting mixed in! When rifle season comes in I will be taking Tiffany out in hopes of putting her on a buck, I have a few spots picked out for her that should be golden!
Good luck to all you boys as well! I got 4 more days, Mon-Thursday of next week to put one down before gun season...... then I got another 6 weeks to keep trying!
Sounds like a solid plan, Ryan ...one week from Szaturday and my bowhunting will be turned into shotgun and then muzzleloader..... looking forward to some bunny hunting with Andrew as well
If you think the hunting pressure is bad there now... Just wait until the shotgun opener! The deer move all day non-stop on the opener there, so sit tight!
always welcome to come hunt with me deer move around all week in gun season!!! its a good time to be in a stand
Don't talk to us about pressure during gun season OHIO boy. :p We invented gun hunting pressure. Good luck Ryan. Make the most of your time out there.
Good luck to you. I was able to get it done with 1 1/2 days left in the Pa. season. Its never over till its over.
I will answer for him since he is out there chasing them this weekend... He is in Harrison State Forest or Jockey Hollow. Both are located in Harrison County.
