Finally got himself in a little trouble today. He has been sneaking in on posted land that he doesn't have permission for. He knows another guy shed hunts it. Well the other guy got a picture of him on his trail cam. Then the trail cam was stolen. The guy is pissed to say the least and blows up the picture and hangs it up at the local watering hole ( bar ) in town here... plus tells everyone his trail camera has been stolen. Everyone is in an up roar. :)

This gets back to dufus who then calls the guy... admits to tresspessing but denies stealing the trail cam although he knew the camera was there and knew the make and model of the trail cam. ( Hello ????? )

The other guy can't prove he took it but made him call the landowner who's land he has been tresspressing on. This landowner hates tresspessers, slobs or thieves. He also shed hunts himself. :) He is an old fart you just don't mess with. Hopefully he presses charges !!

News travels fast and now people will be watching out for the dufus. He is less likely to get permission and hopefully loses permission over this. Your reputation means alot around here. :)

This made my day when I got the news from the guy who's trail camera got stolen. We both can't stand the guy.

I seriously doubt it will stop him from tresspessing although he will think twice before doing it on this guy's land.

Anyways... while he was probably nursing his reamed out butt today from the ass chewing he got yesterday... I had a great dinner break and found a big, bad boy of a shed in the area we both have permission to shed hunt. When I found it... I smiled big time knowing dufus isn't getting this one. Icing on the cake so to speak after the news from yesterday !!!! 72 7/8 inches. That is a very big shed for our area !!! LOL

I would have had the mate if only I could run faster then the buck that was still carrying it today. He looked like a pig with just the one side !! LOL I hope he drops it soon. There was another big buck running with him that was also carrying one side. I just didn't have enough time to search for the second buck's shed. I do however know what I am doing during dinner break tomorrow !! :)

Congrats on the Monster shed Tim.

In all my years of shed hunting... I've never broken the 70" shed mark.

In all our years... we have only broke the 70" mark 3 times. Biggest is 75 ". My goal is to find an 80" before I die. It took 5 years to find the first 70 plus" . 6 years to find the second one. I seriously doubt I will ever find an 80".

I had to call Tyler at college and give him the news today. Poor kid... this is killing him not being here during the week. He told me to throw his boots in my truck so he can start looking tomorrow when he comes by the farm on the way home. Then jokingly he told me to stay out of his sheddin spots during my dinner break tomorrow. :) I might just have to hide his boots for that comment and take an extra long dinner break !!! LOL

That is some great finds! You know if you borrowed his 4 wheeler you could of kept up with the deer to snag the other side! HE HE HA HA! After reading your post I went out to my hunting spot that only two of us have permission to hunt and be on property to find 4 wheeler tracks and snowmobile tracks on our spot. The first thing I did was check my trail cams and treestands! So far I am safe but I think I am going to take down my cams for now. Dont want to take the chance! Sad that you have to do stuff like this but the trust of fello sporters is just like what it was when I first started hunting. Sad but True!

I was in the same boat untill last year and the year before. I have three that hit 70+ and one was pushing it too to be over 70 inches. You will get one just a matter of time.

If he runs me over... do you know a good lawyer I can get to sue his arse ?? :) He stopped in today at the shop ( work ) to see how I was doing shedwise. I got to hear his sad, sad version of the story. He thought the land belong to someone else and didn't bother looking at the poster that was 10 feet away from where he walked in numerous times. Now he is afraid everyone thinks he is a thief. Broke my heart it did !! LOL In the next breathe... he is bragging about a 5 pt set he found. He posted the pictures of the sheds on another site but doesn't know I've seen them. He lied to me on where he found them as I know by looking at the pictures of the ATLs... it is the same place he has been tresspessing and where the trail cam was stolen. He also doesn' know I sent the link of the pictures to the guy that is having the problem with him so he can see them.

You know the old saying... keep you friends close but keep you enemies even closer. This is very fitting in this instance. This guy will eventually bury himself... I am just helping him dig the hole a little faster. :) Between all the drama and finding some pretty good sheds... this shed season has been very entertaining .

We did find the set off the other buck that was running with the big shed buck. This buck had great mass but short tines. Both sheds were in the 62" range. We have his set from last year too. :) We looked for the other side to the 72 incher but no luck. :(
