The pro shop I use is small but has everything I need or can get it. One guy owns/runs the shop. I was in the yesterday because I'm thinking about switching to a heavier arrow for this year. I'm currently shooting a 27 1/2 inch Easton St Axis 500 at 61.5 lbs and a 100 grain head. Thinking about switching to the 400s but since the spine is a little stiff put a 125 grain head on it to soften the spine. My current arrows weigh 380ish and the new arrows weigh 430ish. My question is the guy at the proshop recommends 4 fletched arrows and says they will tune fine with 3 blade fixed broadheads. He has been right on the ball with everything else before but this sounds weird to me. Have/do any of you use(d) 4 vane arrows with 3 blade fixed heads before?

Personally in your situation I'd say 4 fletch is not necessary at all.

I have in the past, 4 feathers anyway.

The number of blades has nothing to do with fletching. Nothing.

What a fourth fletch will do is add a bit more forgiveness to your shot. In my experience I have found that when my bow and arrow are very well tuned together the amount of forgiveness gained by one more fletch was negligible. One more fletch (four fletches) will only help, however small, but having just 3 in a well tuned setup is all most folks need.
