    Chris,
I used to spend a lot of time making really pretty cedar arrows. I would sit around thinking of feather and crown dip combinations. Anymore though I buy Gold Tip Traditional shafts and slap on whatever feathers I have laying around. I just bought a Bear/Victor magnesium TD and an old Bear spring quiver. I was thinking of making some cedar arrow to shoot out of it. My color choice has always leaned toward a light walnut stain with a red crown dip, white hen feathers and natural barred wild turkey c0ck feather.

I can understand your liking that color combination, it sounds great..

I'm trying some GT's this year, black marble wrap, yellow feathers and nock. I like to see my arrows but being red/green color blind it takes some brightness like white or yellow for me to see it very well.

They still looked a little drab... and I did have a can of bright yellow enamel paint in the shed... well, now you can see them in the dark.. ha!!
