True. Tough to argue that. BUT - at this point Tony's career - he's ahead of Troy... So only time will tell.
Not to mention how much more talented Aikman's cowboys were. I think Aikman was more of a product of being on a great team than it was him being a great QB. He was a good QB on a GREAT team.
Agreed... Aikman was good, but not great. His team was so incredibly stacked with talent that it wasn't even fair. Emmitt Smith is/was my favorite football player of all time, but I will say that there are several other running backs who would have put up better career stats if they had the same team around them.... Walter Payton...Barry Sanders.. ect. The whole Romo thing cracks me up.... before the season started last year everybody predicted the Cowboys to be 3rd in the division and win around 7 games (even former Cowboys players) and the Boys went on to win the division by beating the Eagles two weeks in a row (probablly the biggest challenge ANY team faced this entire past season) and went on to win a playoff game. The whole "Romo isn't a leader" thing is a joke.... there are plenty of good QB's who aren't their teams leader... other guys step up to fill that role. It was Keith Brooking for us this past year much like Ray Lewis for the Ravens, James Harrison for the Steelers, Pierce for the Giants, ect.
