I would be in the same boat, Jim. I'm too set in my 20yd vegas shooting mode right now. I need to get setup for longer yardage, and yardage estimation. I bet it was fun, though.
You wanna know what my scores are? Drive over some time and shoot with me in one of the four or five shoots I attend in a year's time. I could care LESS what YOUR scores are. It's irrelevant and meaningless unless you were there in person to see a particular course and the conditions that day, as well as target positioning and yardages. And who cares anyway -- except you, it seems. I'm NOT gunning for a staff shooter position by driving all over the country trying to post out-of-this world scores. I have neither the time nor the inclination, and quite frankly my position with BowTech is far better than a pro shooter would enjoy anway, as you're well aware. Grow up. Take your and go play someplace else.
Jeff, I'd be happy to shout to the world what my score was; I could care less. I decided last year my life is too full and busy with being a husband and father of two INCREDIBLE little boys to commit seriously to 3d. I shot fair, and I think I finished fourth, with the top place being a 414 and second going to a 404 on a fairly tough course. Anyone else asked out of general curiosity, I would have gladly told them. Sometimes people have agendas below surface appearances, and it wouldn't bug him so much to know my scores I turn in if it weren't so.
I have to admit I haven't shot a 3-d shoot in years. I honestly feel I just burned myself out on them. That being said the last one I shot traditonal and it was the most fun I had in a long time on a 3-d course. Every year I say I am going to shoot a couple just for fun but haven't lately. Maybe this year.
