I would post this in the Target Archery forum, but it's dead beyond resuscitation :D

Anyone else getting ready to start shooting some foam?

Florida ASA is a little over a month away.

I just picked up and fletched my 3D arrows for this year. Easton Cobalt 2312's with 100gr up front. Vanetec SS 2.3's (my trusty vane! Always orange, and always these on my 3D arrows) They're going to be shooters.

As far as a bow, this is will be my 3rd year shooting my 08' Shark X, but my first year with my "Frankenshark" setup. I put Hybrids on it before the Classic last year (originally a single cam). She's fast, holds great, but does draw pretty rough!

So what are everyone else's setups, plans, etc?

I'm hoping to attend all the ASA's this year. I'll be in Open A again, missed shooting Semi Pro by a very narrow margin. Might have been a blessing in disguise!

Might attend an IBO, it would be my first.

Good luck to you, Matt. There's NO doubt you've got the talent to be extremely competitive (understated).

I'll be shooting my 1st of the year (or first of the season), Sunday. Setup's pretty basic!

I'm still quite a ways away from 3D season here. Indoor leagues start next week though, so I've been focused on that. Shooting the same 08' Constitution, but have swapped out my Shrewd's for a set of the new B-Stinger Premiers, and have swapped from Eclipse 2712's to GT Triple 7's. Actually just saw my coach last night for the first time since last winter, and everything looks good, just need to get a couple hundred shots on the blank bale done to really polish my shot a bit more.

I will be definitely shooting 3D this year. I'm yet to compete at the national level, and I've put waaaay too much time into this game to not see where I stack up. I honestly see this upcoming summer as my last opportunity to compete at the national level, with any luck I'll have other priorities before the following summer, so I'm going to give it hell this year.

I'll probably try and get a bow setup in the next month or so, IBO Indoor 3D Nationals are in Harrisburg this year at the Eastern Sportsmans Show. I've shot this event in the past (before it was sanctioned by IBO) and done very well, and think I can keep up if I bring my A game. I'll also plan to shoot a handful of other smaller regional/state events, and eventually make it to IBO Worlds, this is the last year they will be in NY. I'll be shooting MBO this year.

Not sure what I'll shoot for 3D this year. Might give a Sentinel FLX a try, or maybe a new Brigadier, or maybe I'll just stay with old faithful...........the Constitution. I'll figure that out in a couple more weeks.

Getting excited as well. I do have some unfinished business in the woods yet, but I am looking forward to killing some foam. As for a rig, I have a Destroyer 340 paid for and as soon as it gets here, I will be selling the Air Raid for a Sentinel. That's the plan anyhow. I got no prob 3d'n the AR if need be. Good luck this year Matt.

Jeff, your dedication to traditional shooting is not short of amazing. Beautiful bow and beautiful arrows.

We will have to try to get together again for a shoot sometime.

Honestly, probably not much. I just don't have the time. I bought a "new" 08 Constitution, decked her out, and haven't even so much at walkback tuned it. I work, come home, work out, then work on the house...repeat.

I'm not even sure if I'm entering the online vegas league this year, either. I had planned to go shoot some at Foxpro, but Ben had to go and have a baby, so now I'm not sure what's up with that trip:D (kidding Ben, of course).

Anytime pal;).....hasn't slowed me down much. The Friday night trips might not happen as much, but we will likely head down a few Sunday afternoons. You are on the "call" list.:)

Oh...I can't wait til 3d season. I'm not the best shooter in the world, but man is it fun! If you haven't shot a Rhinehart 3d shoot you should. It's a blast. Unfortunately the closest one to me was in Iowa this summer and gas was so high at that time we didnt go.

My rig, now equipped with a micro adjust Copper Johns DN2
