I keep my mouth shut. Hey maybe that's why I spout off every now and then, built up anxiety. I had to quote that one.:D You know (well some of you will) when you reached that 40th birthday and you called it the "Big four o"? Well I'm knocking on that door for a 2nd time only it's a horse of a different color. Actually it's been 37 years, I lost one in there somewhere so I was informed. Anyway in the early years it was a real challenge, raising 5 kids and loosing another to a heart defect, a disease (fibroimalgia) that has taken over my wife's life that there is no cure for, cancer, making @#%$ for money in the early days and always living day to day and anything else that could have been thrown our way. As you move forward you grow real close to one another and become more than just married, you become best friends also. I have to say it would be a real struggle if I were to lose my partner. I want to thank you all the comments thrown my way and hope each and every one you get to experience a long term marriage.
Congrats Rik, you are definately in the minority these days. You seem to know how to handle the situation. Enjoy every day to the fullest, things can change in a hurry.
COOL and impressive Rick. My wife and I will be married 9 years come July 1. Times that by 4 and that will 36 years of marriage. WOW again Rick.
Congratulations Rick and Sherry (?), you've come a long way thru thick and thin, good and bad, and you're still hanging around !!!! The better half and I will have our 32nd this coming July and like Rick, I don't know what I would do without her !! Again, many more to you Rick !!!
4 Ricmur My 32nd will be on the 14 of July and she also has Fibramialious, and now she needs a knee replacement too boot. I have to fly her into BC to get the operation because here in Alberta we've lost the bulk of our Doctors to the good ole USA. Go figure huh! God is with those to whom they stay true Rick Best of luck in the future and God Bless The Rockster
Congrats !!! 22 years here come November. Got a little ways yet to get to 37 but looking forward to it. Congrats again !!!! Tim
