    That is the world record set in 1978 for the fastest speed over water. Every other person who has attempted to beat the record has died. One would think technology would find a way to beat the record.

    Heck no 60 mph is more than enough for me. It is fascinating though, making the prelim runs at 3/4 speed and then decide full speed ahead, has to be a hell of a ride.
