Hey hunters, I am new to the forums but love the show! and website! I have go 3 shooter bucks on my farm this year and I am not that good at naming deer. The wide 9pt with the crab claw on the front left side I think is one I called "Click" last year. Click was a mid size 9 last year, he got the name because that is the sound my 30/30 made when I tried to pull the trigger on him... Yea.... it is always important to double check and MAKE SURE you rack a round haha.. kinda glad he got to walk though. He is much nicer this year! And would love to get him with my bow! Anyway, help with some names??! 1st time posting so I am not sure how this works but I think I got the pics attached right
Haha that is what I just called him in the fall buck trail cam competition, without seeing this comment... so I guess that is his name! great minds think a like!
deer 1, deer 2, deer 3. The name of the deer doesn't matter its really more of a tool to help you remember them and make them easier to track. Example: If you have a buddy hunting your place he can just say hey I saw deer 1 over in the power line stand at 9 am. then I spotted deer 3 in the oak grove spot. This lets you easily track these bucks instead of I saw that one deer with the taller rack but the shorter G3 on the right side. A name is just quicker. Since you have three deer just name them Larry, Curly, and Moe
Yes names make them easier to talk about but aside from that.. can be fun and potentially make good forum convo, 3 stooges is a good approach tho haha
