3 Booners!!??

    I watched a show tonight called Whitetail Freaks. There was a pair of guys on there called "The Boys from Illinois". They ended up killing 4 monster bucks off one of their food plots on "one" of their farms. They claimed that 3 of them were booners! It was incredible.

    I have hunted some pretty nice spots but I have never seen anything like that. I have seen maybe 6 in my life and only one per season.

    Anyone else see the show!

    I too watched the show and was completely amazed at the bucks those two guys have down there. They are very fortunate that one of their families owns and farms several thousand acres of ground in far SE IL. They aren't too far from where the Campbell Outdoor Challenge is at and also close to "The Bottoms" which is a well-known outfitter here in IL. That part of the state has some awesome genetics and the hunting pressure is a fraction of what it is in places like West Central IL. I've often heard a lot of knowledgable big buck hunters say if a new state or world record ever comes out of IL it will be from down south, not out West.

    I watch Whitetail Freaks all the time, it is one of my favorites. Those were some big deer The Boys from Illinois took down.
