39 degrees here, would be a perfect morning to be in a tree. I'm headed to the pumpkin Patch with the kids.

I saw 2 smaller bucks chasing does in the field off the interstate going to pick up the kids last night. That was fun to watch.

Well guys...I went on my lottery hunt today and did not score on anything. Bummer. I did see a big buck in broad daylight but it was behind brush/trees and the it went directly away from me. If he would have taken a left instead of a right, he was mine! Oh well. Not sure if I will get a chance to hunt again this year. Maybe very late season. Keep it up y'all. Good luck!

This weekend was fun, but no blood or big buck sightings, hoping to drag my butt out of bed Tuesday to get out to the public land.

Sorry about your luck, you killed for the team, great job man. I hope you get to hunt again and not just for the team, just because hunting is such a good stress reliever and great life tool to get some therapy. Good job man.

Made it out last night. It was one of those sits where you know your the only one for miles addicted enough to be out there. I can't help but think that's the beginning of a great story so ill stick out just about any weather. Raining, cold and very windy. I ended up not seeing anything, I took a chance and hunted an oak grove that's all tore up. I've taken a really nice buck in similar weather. I actually rattled him in too come to think about it. Anyways ill be out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night. Might take Friday off for a morning sit.

I'm not liking the winds so far for this week. We'll see what happens as Tuesday rolls closer. But I only really have one stand for these winds and I like to save it for the rut. Maybe we're close enough now. IDK. Decisions decisions.

I hunted Ohio yesterday. Passed a small 4 pt right under my stand. Had a nice doe come in at 9:15am and my bum bicep decided not to work and I couldn't get my 50lb bow drawn. I guess I am glad it wasn't a big buck :) . But it would have been a beautiful broadside wide open shot.

This opening is the right of the large tree where the doe was feeding. That is sorghum, beans farther out in the field, and a late season raddish/turnip plot but there also some clover and oaks dropping all around.

The little buck was feeding around in this grassy area right behind my stand:

I had to make a quick trip to the Midwest for a family situation. But me and my cousin got out for a couple morning hunts. Saw deer every morning but only one small buck. Thanksgiving cant here quick enough

I've had enough of seeing these deer chasing on the side of the roads, I'm going in the morning.

45 Degrees, a rare SW west , I've got a stand just a little NW of his bedroom. Let's see if he follows the same path he has the last week?

I'm headed to MN tomorrow for evening hunt. Then basically hunting as much as possible between then and opening day of MN firearms season (A week from Saturday).

I'll do my best to stay updated on the forum - but I don't have a ton of internet access where I hunt. Plus i'll be splitting hunting time with being around the in-laws.

Good luck everyone - stay safe!
