Have a double set of spikes and these 2 that showed up this morning. Got one more cheerleading(football) game tomorrow and then that's done with for the year!!! woohoo I also saw two little bucks chasing a doe just a little up the road. It's getting closer to game time fellars!!!
Didn't work out today. Next weekend it will start to get serious for me fellers. I did end up acquiring a climber so ill pry do a little practicing with that this weekend and may slip into public land next week sometime. 3rd shift has pushed back the amount of hunting I had planed on doing. I did a card pull and got some cool pics to share. That wide 8 is a pig this guy has been hanging around good don't go breaking your antlers boys
I'm going to sit in a different stand in the morning. I've got no children and the Lil lady is going shopping tomorrow so I may sit for while.
Easy recovery. Right on edge of corn field in grassy area. 30 yds shot that she was very tightly quartered away. Had a bigger doe in the corn that wouldn't come out until I shot. Had her dressed, loaded up, changed and made my dinner reservation with my wife at 7:30 (ok, I was 2 min late). Have some blurry selfie pics from field. Gonna try to take a couple I'm garage as soon as I hang her. Not very big.
