Yes. Coop...Glad that you are still keeping up with your (old) team and that you are healing well. Don't push it too much and have a setback. Keep us posted on your season. Good luck!

I'm in for a quick sit this morning before I have to do some running around. This little property (20 acres) has 2 bucks I'd shoot on it. 30623.jpg This is the one I hope shows up.

Climbing down, button and a fox were all I saw this morning, but I did see deer. That's not always the case here in NW GA. It will be Monday before I can get back outo again. If any of you guys are hunting, be careful this weekend.

Show is now live with my hunt on Saturday. Couldn't quite get the doe and then my buck I passed. I'm back hunting on Sunday afternoon; hopefully with a deer down...

Neal, just watched your hunt. Congrats on having the strength to pass that buck. That's very hard to do on opening day! Leg length vs body leads me to believe that it's a 3.5 yr old. Good luck everyone. One more week for us Illinois boys to begin hitting the woods with our bows.

I am in agreement that he's a 3.5 year old. I don't think I could have let him walk myself.

Bow is dialed in up to 60 yds with BHs(max distance on a calm deer broadside for me is around 40). Hunting clothes and undergarments are outside drying right now. Just finished replacing a rear brake line on my truck that turned into more work as both rear bleeders broke off. Do some more shooting from an elevated position and I'm ready!

Kicked a few up on my way to my stand at 5 am. Got down around 10. No activity which is unusual. Has me convinced that'll it'll be a good evening sit. So that's where I'll be. Good luck men.

So, since I got permission, the question is, where to hunt in the morning?

Anywhere, you have permission! Mornings have been really slow this past week for my WI buddies. Hope you can change that trend!

I watched the hunt, I like your little food plot set up. I would probably pass that deer on my private land but if I see one like that that on the public land the arrow would fly lol

I must've missed where you got permission to hunt. Is it Neals?
