Going to try and see if can slip back out on Saturday morning on a strict buck only hunt. I'm taking my wife out for our 10 year anniversary for dinner. It'd be a hassle if I took one but for a nice buck I'd have no problems.

Holy crap guys. I serious leave for 48 hours and we have 4 (i think) deer down. Congrats to all... "LIKES" for all! I'm pumped. I'll be hunting tomorrow morning and will keep everyone updated.

That's my brother, this is his 2nd year bowhunting and he wanted to try 50 yards too. We both shot 3 arrows, two of his hit a little bit above where mine did his third ended up in that tree lol

Yes...I made it out of the woods ok. Lol. You know how it is after killing a deer. That's when all the work begins. I have measured him but haven't tallied it up yet. It was not a huge buck but it is my biggest with a bow. I am so pumped though! I did not even kill a deer last year, so this is extra sweet! Attached are a couple pics. I will score him and upload it to the scorecard later tonight!!

I really just can't believe how we went from nothing on Tuesday to 4 deer, one being a nice buck, on Friday night. This is obviously my first year on a team so I might be a little too over excited but dang, we are on a roll!!! 245 7/8 is where we are at as of Friday night. They say you have to break 1000 to be in the running and we are 1/4 of the way there.

Last 2 weeks of sept and first 2 of October you see a lot of does go down. Almost all teams are going for early season does. This is by far the quickest scoring team I've been on. Just wondering are we 100% active. Anyone missing?

I don't see anything from black and white or afflicted or fullrut for a while, but every1 else I have seen. Not sure that really means anything either lol

 

That was super cool, you and your brother pulling and double and getting to video for each other. Were you able to video that buck today?

 

Afflicted has been checking in, he commented on me being in a tree one day this week.
