WI - Sept 18? or sometime that first week...

 

Weather permitting I'll be sitting in my public land stand the evening of October 1st. If it's still 80+ and muggy as all hell I will not be though lol

 

This Saturday for GA, and then following for TN.

8 days for me too. Took opening day off and I have daily activity at one of my stand between 8-9 am!

So, I shot again today and the new muzzy Tro car HB'S are hitting dead on. It was 100 degrees when I got in the truck this afternoon so I'm worried for Saturday. Just too ,too, too hot to be chasing whitetails. I'm sure I could go and see a doe but I don't know it's worth it... Neal said I could kill one in my shorts and that means we get an extra 50 points so maybe I will stick it out lol

There is no practice head with them.

 

So, it all starts in the morning, depending on temps and wind direction, I have 3 different spots to try at in the morning. Edit, I have my license also now, so we are good to go.

Well , plans have changed. The ball game the Lil one is cheering at tomorrow had changed to 10. There is no way to make that happen and get to the game, so for the first time in over 20 years I will be missing an opening day. Kids come first, there will be other times, but it ticks me off when people change things this late at night. I may have my Sunday church service in the tree.
