    This ^^

It is human nature though so it is hard for most people to see their own bias.

Are they being bashed for standing up for what they believe in or is it being bashed for what they believe in?

There is a distinction and it's the same thing here.

If he doesn't want these people in his business, they should honor his wishes. Doesn't seem like a smart move in his area if the country.

It's not hypocrisy to stand up for "YOUR" beliefs.

If the business owner posted a sign that said "CCW not permitted" then people would just be going about their business. If I posted a sign on my business that said "If your such a loser that you have to have sex with the same sex, then you are not welcome." I would expect some flack for it.

Let's not forget without the 2nd amendment we don't have the 1st(which is what he was utilizing with the sign)or any other freedoms that our constitution and bill of rights provide. Law abiding gun owners are not the problem. Ignorant uneducated opinions on gun control from people like this are the problem. Personally I don't love guns I just love what they protect, my wife and kids, as a father it is my duty to protect my family at all costs and the quickest and most effective way to do so is with a gun.

um, I don't. At least very rarely.
But then again, I don't much worry about privately declared "gun free" zones either. Unless something very bad happens which threatens innocent lives, no one will never even know I had it on me.
