I replied with a qoute a few post down..Just wondering would you guys and gals consider sending a Easton 2117 with field point through a 1,140 page hard covered text book(well not through but the field point and almost 5" of arrow shaft), decent,good or great "Bow Power" from 25yards out???
Are you asking if that is good power and penetration? I don't now because i don't have much to compare it to. But I am sure that would kill. Go online and find a Kenetic energy calculator and figure out what KE your at. You will need you FPS, and arrow wieght. But that will tell you more then anything.

what are you hunting? Yellow pages? I dont think a test like this proves anything or is applicable to hunting...your probably wasting a good book.
Book is circa 82. No it doesn't have anything to do with hunting,just wanted to see what It'll do without doing harm to something worth anything.

UPDATE**************** My crab friends I practice with dupped me yesterday...I found out today that quite afew pages were altered... The pages had areas cut out of them the size of silver dollars, which in turn my shots passed through which made for a thought of a high energy shot. They cut the tape that held the book closed tight and let me off the hook.... SOME FRIENDS HUH???
