Well today is my 23rd anniversary and yep im at work :d the honey moon was over a long time ago :d You guessed it, she roped me into getting married in the prime of deer season :bash: I swear her and her sister hate me. Her sister followed suit two years later on the bow opener :bash: and i missed that to :bash:

Congrats buddy!!Im going on 13 years myself. It still amazes me that there are women out there that would actually put up with our out of control hunting addictions.

Hunting helped ruin my first marriage even though her dad was a serious hunter. But then again she was an alcoholic, manic depressant, unappreciating spoiled skank.

My current wife was nice enough to book our late honeymoon at the end of last October! I was pissed but told her I'd make it up to her the following two weeks. In the end I still shot a buck two days after getting back and did a great job of reminding her that hunting goes on after marriage. What still kills me is that her aunt sold her 200 acres in McHenry county a few years ago and screwed me out of prime hunting property that is now a forest preserve and new construction.

July 28, 30 years married, or was it 31. Dang! Anyway I'm off the hook I remember it before she does so it's all good! She doesn't mind me being in the woods or on the lake, says it's better than being in a bar. And if I die out there maybe they won't find me and she can save the burial money! LOL! She's startin to love watchin the Outdoor Channel huntin shows though so I may have a camera operator some day. She has an awful crush on Michael Waddel! I'm not even jealous! lp

Febuary will be 3 years... What a long strange trip it's been.

I don't regret it. I love being married. I just wish we could find some things that we like doing together.

I got her out last spring to shoot archery. I set her up with the Jennings Model T. She got two bullseyes in her first three shots.

I think that is what I am going to work with this spring. From what she said, she liked it. She was a little sore the next day though.
