Great buck anyway that would be a good one to watch go down on film. By the way is any other team members self filming hunts this year. This will be my first good go at it. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
My buddy and I are going to be filming each other and I will self film if we can't hunt together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not really self filming but I have my camera mounted on my bow. So I will have some footage. I had my camera on for my buck kill and it was to dark to see clearly. U could make it out a little but not much. My dream is to hunt on film though with me and my veteran buddies in different states
This Is exactly why I love hunting in ohio, big ol bucks all over. 9 years till retirement and I will be able to manage and maintain my property there. 54 degrees sounds wonderful right now. Good luck dropping this brute
Just left the ridge for the last time until opening day my deer activity there is very good I've been feeding at this mineral site since early summer I had stop feeding right after season ended but it is looking as promising as it has been I see no need to ever put in a food plot at this piece of land because it is a living plot of white oaks it is amazing how many acorn have Fallin and even more amazing how my mineral site is about 10 ft by 10 ft wide to the bare dirt. So it is being worked hard and I just refreshed it with trophy rock four65 I've heard great things about it. It normally is a big 6 mineral site but since season is sat. I thought I would give it a bonus mineral throughout the course of the season. Pics to follow soon Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
I self film on most hunts. It always seems like the one day I don't want to pack in the equipment that's when I get my shots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
i have a ton of pics of does from the last week at the ridge from small to big young to old trophy does and i will say that if one of these big nanny does walks out opening day she gets a razor trick in the pump station my freezer is starving for deer meat. Don't know if this doe got into some mud or if her legs are just black kind of odd considering the others that were with her didn't have black legs. still no bucks fellas beside the last youngster i saw on camera but its gonna heat up come late October into November. 1 day an a wake up fellas i smell blood.
dang some that is a nice buck! I would love to film, but just can't afford it right now, especially with me being laid up for the next month. Have to wait till next year. Good luck to everyone heading out this weekend!
Well First hunt in the books. Rained most of the morning, but had 2 does come in. On a bad note, when checking camera's last night, i saw what looked like to be a dead deer. Sure enough this morning we found him. Looks like he was hit by a car. Hasn't been there long, but wish i could have seen him on hoof. Be back at it tonight, hope a nice buck steps out. Couple of shots from out pull
Got out this morning at about 6 a.m. and set til nine or so no sights didn't Bump anything that I know of gonna try again tomorrow sit til noon then go to lunch and back out for an evening hunt. I would have went out tonight but I'm going to a fight so good luck tonight fellas hope a big one walks out Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Good luck! It cooled off alot here I went this morning and didn't see anything. I know the deer are moving though. I'm going agian in the morning also.
I went last night and had a good evening. I ended up seeing 10, but nothing I was gonna shoot. All the does had fawns and the buck I saw was a 2.5 year old 8 pointer. I'll be going again this evening.
I found the big boys home, he has about 5 rubs right in a row here and one really big tree he's hitting hard. I hope he decides to come to it tonight
Well, no luck this weekend. Had a shot at a yote, but missed him. Will be back out Friday night. Good luck guys. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
Went out last night for the opener. Saw 3 does but all too far. Won't be out much till the house is completely empty and ready to sell. It's on the market and just have a few things to get done. I'm praying it sells quickly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very interesting night in the stand had 2 fawns and there mom and she wasn't much bigger than them a 2 year at the most. Just enough to get the heart rate up. Overall a great night the larger doe was on edge the whole time and those fawns were barely out of spots. I had her quartering away at 20 yds and broadside at 40 yds but still too small I'm looking for a big Ole fat trophy doe!!! It's coming fellas with patience it's still early no worries but my freezer is still crying and so is my belly I had fun tho Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
