Btw-My name is Bill, I live in the Charlotte NC area. I'll be likely hunting NC public land this year, but may end up hunting some other spots either private land in NC or GA. I scouted what has been my goto spot this past weekend. Really no sign at all which was disheartening. My dog picked up some scent nearer a few bedding areas that are adjacent to an old logging road which gave me some hope. I'm hoping to scout about 3 other spots in the coming weeks to put together my plan. Season opens for us on Sep 12.

The only property I have this year is a club I am in which is around 2000 ac. Of gravel quarry. I usually good to take 4-5 deer off this property, but last was my worst year ever! Good morning team! Names Rob. I'm 31 and hunt in central South Dakota on private land that I've been fortunate enough to get permission for. There is A LOT of good public property options too, but the private is too convenient. Bucks and does frequent both of my hunting locations so chances are good for one of each. Got a decent buck with 2 split brow tines on camera a couple weeks ago! Need a name for him yet.. Season starts Sept. 26!
