See those mountains behind the boat? Hard to miss the carp when there's so much exploring to do.

If we sell the whole pontoon boat, we'll eventually get a basic Jon boat. Maybe. And that will be mostly for trout, perch, pike and such.

    :D

This is nuts! He wired it so he can switch from 12v for 50 watts or switch to 110v for 200 watt, and even turn certain lights off individually switched ! Test run of first light!

    You're fabricating... we're deconstructing.

Lil more progress! Trying to make a deadline for a tourney! Fabricated a quick mount for the troller where it can easily be bolted on and off on the fly. This way it can be locked up in the tool box behind the console when traveling and staying at hotels and such! Very easy to mount! The Co pilot came in today so we can get that mounted on it.

Also had to move the hold down U bolt to new location since hydraulic Jack plate covered up original location!

Not much this evening! Got the fish Ripper made and mounted over tub. Took a 4" grinder with a flapper disc and smoothed the joints on the round tube on light rail edge. Can't have that string catching on anything sharp.

Christine our first tourney is April 30, battle on the river Paris Tenn. Would like to get a test run before that to iron out any bugs. Still have kicker throttle cable to install, and shift cable. He has a Tack, fuel gauge and speedo on the way , needs gas lines ran and fuel filter. The push is on!

More progress! We got the Co pilot mounted on the troller and wired up! Works great!

the new longer shift and throttle cables came in. I did some modifications to the brackets to clear the steering setup! We will be running cables tomorrow and hopefully getting the other end of them working and mounted to front console on the deck. Kicker motor is getting closer!

It was a productive day! We ran more wires for the ignition switch and trim switches for the kicker motor to the front console . Got ignition mounted and working, got trim switch working and mounted the switch and joy stick for the steering and it works great. Also ran the throttle cable and shift cable to front console, and we made some custom mounting brackets for them, there rock solid.

Also got kill switch installed and working.

    So the question is......

by the time you get this done, how will it work as an ice fishing boat next winter?
