Wondering what anyone else is working on for next year? Application season is just around the corner! Got a March hog hunt and a May bear hunt so far. Applying in 5 states for elk and one for moose. Hopefully something pans out.
I'm going to do a firearms elk hunt somewhere, spend the bucks for a good outfitter, and go someplace I don't have to use points or draw. Should get drawn for KS deer next year. May also get drawn for IA deer next year? Then the usual IN & IL whitetail hunting.
Burned Antelope points this year in WY and killed a nice buck… Working on my redemption tour for Iowa - couple more years for that. Have 9 deer points in Wyoming that are starting to burn a hole in my pocket so that may be my focus next year. I’ve been accumulating a lot of points in various states over the years so I have to really get a plan together. If I burn one set of points per year, I have hunts for the next 17 years. Hoping my kids have interest in heading west and that will help eat up a lot of those points.
