Would love to see all sheds coming out of 2025! Getting ready to start hiking the woods and forests here in Virginia. Couple more weeks! Wish everyone good hunting with their sheds! Will post best ones I find here.

Found this one about a week ago. I was actually just checking a cam, not looking for sheds, but I'll take it!

I picked up 3 sheds and 2 dead bucks on Sunday. I didnt get a pic of all them. The one buck was old. I was in a tidal swamp and the tide was out and water was low. I looked out in the water and saw tines sticking up. It ended up being a heavy 8 pt. I also found a young 11 pt, to bad he died. Also followed a trail down to the water and there layed a shed in the water. I love finds like that. 20250209_100640.jpg 20250209_093550.jpg

Went scouting/shed hunting a new piece Sunday and and found a real old dead head and a random classic looking car. Not a car guy but still seems like a shame.

Got out for 3 hours this morning in the pouring rain. Managed to pick up 3 little ones. Also found 5 dead deer, 3 of which were bucks. 20250216_102458.jpg

Got the hankering to go shed hunting.
That is a 1957 ford. Looks like it has been stripped for parts. The Midnight Auto Supply with the five finger discount.

Seems you're finding a good number of dead bucks in your travels. Disease, cars, or just not being recovered??

Its alittle bit of everything. Alot seems to be some kind of sickness. Finding alot of freshly dead deer. Hunting season has been out for a month. Still seeing alot of deer being hit by cars. A few this year were in tidal water. The tide was way out and then froze over. I was able to walk on the frozen river and get to alot of places I normally couldn't reach. Alot of big bucks like to die way out in marshes, just so happens i like walking out in them.

Many of the bucks around here still had them in mid March last year.

Quick walk by my house. No sheds but found 3 dead bucks. Two were velvet kills, probably EHD. One was a fresh kill, but someone cut the rack off. It had some big bases. 20250302_105519.jpg
Edit: I measured the bigger one, 125" buck
