That's a great looking buck. I hope you get a shot at him when season comes in.

Sadly, I could not. @LittleChief was already a guest with someone whom I have not met. It would have been bad manners to invite myself over. Especially with kids in tow.

So it would have been poor manners on his part to leave that friend to visit you then too????

When teams are announced, I'll be in Maine on a bear hunt and don't know if I'll have service or the outfitter has wifi. If i do I'll check in but if I don't just know I'll check in when I get service!

Anyone rehab a rotator cuff injury? What was your experience? How did you do it? Should be shooting, but nervous to pull the bow back and potentially make the injury worse.

Not the same thing but I have a pretty bad AC joint in my right shoulder. I just changed my draw from a low elbow draw to a high elbow draw and I have no shoulder discomfort during or after shooting.
1 spike in volleyball and it hurts, but drawing in a more "correct" way has helped a ton.

I've looked up home PT for my AC joint and done some of those, I have elastic bands I use to simulate the drawing motion as well. Seems to have worked for me

I didn’t want to say anything, but I just wanted to get home because I felt terrible.

I thought it was just the heat, but some kind of intestinal bug hit me just before I went on the hunting trip.

The first night after I shot the first pig my system was backed up and dinner gave me indigestion that I couldn’t get rid of. I had to make myself throw up to get relief.

After that I was feeling weak, flushed and I was cramping. As soon as the sun hit me I felt like it was killing me. I was even sweating in the morning heat. I could only “go” (if you know what I mean) a little at a time. I’d feel better for a few minutes and then cramps would build up. This went on day and night the entire time I was there.

When I got home I weighed more than I have in my entire life. 250 pounds.

These symptoms continued for over a week after I got home. I felt somewhat normal if I didn’t eat, but when I did eat it all started again. I couldn’t get too far from a restroom.

Yesterday was the first day that I felt pretty good and only had to “go” once in the morning.

I weighed myself this morning and I weighed 238. I’ve lost 12 pounds since I got home.

I still don’t feel right but I feel a lot better.

Boys, it’s getting serious…remember that dang near new bow I bought from @Tony last year? I just left the bow shop with it dialed in for me. Spikes are in for a hurting next month.

Thanks. I will have to play around with drawing back. Otherwise, I'll certainly be doing some home PT work.
