9 miles today ! Only 1 shed and a mangy little dead . My feet are on fire. I only kept going because Roux was loving it. I spotted the only one we found from far off but didnt say anything and she went right to it anyway so i guess we both found it :tu:. Went out this afternoon with one goal in mind. Find my rain jacket that I lost over a month ago. Mission completed! Haha. It fell out my pack in the middle of a cattail marsh in about a foot of water, when I shot my last deer and was tracking it. Got lucky it was floating in the water and was still good.

Ended up picking up 3 deadheads and 2 sheds while I was out also. 20240313_144028.jpg 20240313_171252.jpg 20240313_150722.jpg

Sitka ain't cheap! Glad I found it.

134 and change. One of his g2s was 11 6/8 and his main beams were 24" and 23 6/8" really impressive 8 pt. To bad he's dead.

Found a couple putting on some clover out in wheat field. They were about 50 yards from eachother so may be a set but other than little nubs at base not much similarities ha. The right side, left in pic, is alot thicker and just more mass overall. May have been a injured buck tho guess. Either way pretty decent. Haveta look around so more after the weekend. [IMG]

I think so too. I mean it'd be pretty weird growth. Heck of a coincidence finding them that close together tho. I haven't been running cameras really so have nothing to go off of other than what find.

Also when found them the bigger one still had blood on the base like it was pretty fresh and the other was more dried out. Need to go back to the draw they were found in/by and look little harder, might stumble on the actual matches ha.

First for me, just driving back to my house from a job and drove over what I swore was a shed. Turned around and there it laid in the middle of the road haha. Dont know if the deer got hit or popped when it crossed the road, there was a decent trail and drop to the road.

Cool! I found one same way couple years back. Stopped on highway and backed up. It was a broken beam though not a shed. Nice find anyhow
