    You know that’s never going to happen, right?

    I don’t hunt where there are big bucks either. The biggest buck I’ve ever killed with my bow was only 127” and that was on a trip farther north in Missouri on private land.

    Most years I’m lucky to put a 100” buck on the scorecard.

    I’ve said it so many times: Big bucks are nice and they help a team’s score, but what wins the contest is having every team member contribute points.

    If every person on a 9 man team killed a doe and just a 100” buck that team would rack up one of the highest scores in the history of the contest, including when the teams had 11 or
    12 members.

    Last year, if every person on another team had killed a doe and just an 80” buck they would have won.

    Almost forgot about sign-ups. Glad to be back and see familiar names and **** posting. Looking forward to the season. My YouTube algorithm knows its almost time. Out of nowhere deer hunting videos are slowly taking place of fishing videos.

    Missed last year, got signed up too late. Can't wait for this season. Lost 2 properties from last year. Both sold their land. Just got permission for a new spot this year. Going to check about couple public parks in my county. They allow hunting on 9 parks in our county. A couple of the parks are around 175 acres, one is 220.

    Me and my youngest son who is 34. Saw a buck we saw two years ago. We called him the little kicker buck. Last year we never saw him. Anyway now he is around 29-30” wide and about three inches taller. We couldn’t get a picture of him. We jumped him and he didn’t give us the time of day. Our hunt opens in two weeks.
    Here is a picture of him two years ago.
    It won’t be easy to sneak up on this guy. It definitely got our attention. If I see him I’m going to give it a good try.
