    Had a good friend. Well I have known this young man since he was 5 years old. Anyway he called me up last week and asked if I could help him with his elk hunt in Wyoming. He really had to twist my arm :cool:. We covered a little ground but we finally found this guy.

    it is amazing how many people head out west with great aspirations and inadequate preparation. The mountains will humble you if you are not ready.

    I really felt bad for him. I grew up hunting and hiking in the mountains and it still humbles me. It is just hard for me to understand doing that to somebody. If I couldn’t have handled it I would at least drop them off and pick them up in places and kept him company at camp. Anyway he handled it very well and I got to be part of his hunt.
