I removed my comment myself after I realized it was in the wrong thread, within like 2 minutes. All Good!
Yes. Deer had not been dead long when I recovered it. Bad shot where deer jumped string at 40, and arrow went through both back hams and gut. Backstraps and front shoulders were still good.
I am not sure why those pictures duplicate. Usually only when I post from my phone. Next year if shoot another buck, I will sure to make sure I have my bow in the hero shot with the nutsack pic lol, for that second harvest pic.
That would be a great pic on the scorecard. Like I said, You had a valid reason for posting extra pics. As far as the duplicates go, I have no idea why that would happen. They were easy to remove, but late last night I didn’t want to attempt it.
Pretty quiet on the scorecard this year other than those two giants lol. I know most people can’t hunt yet but just wanted to let everyone know to hurry and get on the board…a couple of team 5s members start tomorrow so everyone should try to get a little taste of what winning feels like before we run away with it…haha goodluck everyone! @Rick James When I looked at the scorecard and saw your buck my immediate first glance reaction was “wtf, did this idiot really just try and enter an elk in the contest?” That’s an impressive buck to say the least. Same goes for @B Hicks, although that one didn’t look as elk-like due to the brow tines and points.
WTF guys? This is the saddest smack talk thread I’ve seen in years. Has everyone gone respectful on us and forgotten how to talk smack? On a side note… glad to see that at least somebody on the defending champions’ team hasn’t forgotten how to kill a deer…
He alone scored more pts last yr than several teams, if you would count all the deer he shot. A killing machine
