    Lol...please read that again please.
The three stands of mine with huge limbs in them...I posted a pic of one I removed.
If I'd found 3 stand on me that weren't mine...you'd better believe they would be at camp for the boys that same day. Though I did find 2 new ones along the property line. Which I find funny because it's my south their north line. Mostly blowing their scent across their property.
You know, After 42 years...I still confuse hubby too...hahahaha

Cmon rain. Winter wheat and oats in, blind put up, mock scrape. It sounds a lot easier than it was. I had to do a lot of trimming on the right of way to get more sun in. And it was a scorcher today. The blind tucked in pretty good, the tractor is parked in the same spot in all the pics for reference to finding the blind.

An hour after we left, does confused of mock scrape and no weeds, “wut doing?”

My day just ended, well still have kitchen work and peppers to stuff. Though...the back trail plots and the new plot behind house are done as well. I fertilized and dragged then seeded with rye and dragged then top dressed it all with medium red clover.

Put up my last stand for the year, I think. In the NW corner of my property, never tried there before and should be interesting. Also we have gotten some much needed rain this week, about 2 1/2 inches. The plots should really take off now and the clover that went dormant might perk up again.

    Another inch and a half!

Picked up my Muddy blind in an absolute downpour this morning, left it on the trailer because it was coming down so hard.

Feel like a drowned rat. Just need to get the tower in so I can get it up!!

Going to try and put down a little fertilizer while I am up there too.

That looks promising, coming in nicely. Hopefully we keep getting some rain now and again.

Can't believe I'm saying it but I hope it doesn't rain anymore for a week.
    4" here in 6 days.
    Sure is a blessing though!

20210829_100648.jpg Here's some more same area. The thick cover pic is an "Island" right under several mature oak filled with brier. Food plots on either end and food trails on each side.

OK the last two seeded and fertilized ...seriously done finished, completed. Disc gets greased washed and taken off then tractor gets scubed washed and waxed.

Geez Louis.....I wish I could be very angry about this but....
Not an hour after I left those plots I took the dogs for a walk out there. I'm dog sitting at the moment. I round the corner and all I can see on the entire plot in last picture, are 30 some turkey. Now if you can get those pics larger you can see the white coated white cloud clover, some if the rye that didn't completely bury with fertilizer that didn't. They ate EVERYTHING! Everything...let's hope it doesn't kill them . I never do this but today after Two hours of hard work, I ordered A.J. to get them. That was wild turkey flying everywhere...thank heaven I'm two weeks ahead of this areas planting dates. I can't get too angry because..I love turkey hunting and having that many in one spot is great....let's hope enough rye got buried. I'll walk raw red clover over it with a late rye seeding
