The Official Scorecard Thread is locked and the contest is finished. This was the tightest race to the end that I've seen in all my years on the forums, but Team 12 barely managed to hold off Team 15 and Team 4 to cross the finish line in the lead and pull off back to back wins. FIRST PLACE - Team 12 - 1054 1/8 SECOND PLACE - Team 15 - 925 3/8 THIRD PLACE - Team 4 - 909 Congratulations to everyone on their deer taken this season. I hope everyone had a great time participating in the contest, getting to know your teammates, hunting, sharing in other's hunts and trying to win the contest. It's only about 5 1/2 months until the 2022 Sign Up Thread will be posted and then we will do it again. To anyone still hunting, good luck and stay safe!!
I want to take a minute to thank LC. Not only do you hunt just as long and just as hard as all of us (more so than the majority of us). But yet again he ran a tight contest and stayed on top of all indiscretions. Members might not understand the amount of time(hunting time) sacrificed for this contest. Not to mention the insanely quick to enter scores upon entries...there were times folks thought he hadn't added it yet since it had only been minutes and the darn scorecard already reflected it after all LOL Guy has nailed this job!

I appreciate it brother. Like I said before, the toughest part of the contest is getting the teams built and published. I entered a lot of the scorecard entries while sitting in a tree. It’s a good thing I’m fairly decent at doing math in my head. It’s actually kind of fun and it gives me something to focus on during long boring sits. Still, I wonder how many deer I didn’t see because I was looking at my phone.
There were some teams with issues, but seemed like there were more full active teams than we've had some years. Excellent sign and encouraging.
