I will be posting the rules as soon as we settle one issue. I plan to post the Contest Sign-up thread on Monday or Tuesday.
See my post above. On another note you may want to accumulate a few more posts. We may be requiring members to have at least 50 posts before they can participate. That’s not a definite thing yet, but last year we had a lot of new guys sign up for the contest and then disappear never to be heard from again.
We might suck but we are not cheaters and full of enough crap to not have to steal others.....wait....um.....
I think it should be higher than that post count even. But then again I see long time members ghost out at random times too.

Too late for this season, but I would like to see it as time based plus post count. Member for at least seven months(to give new members who find the forums during season a chance) with 250 posts min. When new members show up and post a 7 word sentence in a 7 post string it kind of defeats the purpose. Or better yet, must have lost Newb title under your user name. This is by no means against new members, but it would at least assure that the member is somewhat active on the forums during season, if not during the off season as well. The problem will never be eliminated, it isn't always the new members who do it. Life issues come up, hell we even lost a teammate a few years back to an unfortunate passing.
Disappearing for a while is kind of a normal thing. We had a lot of folks sign up and then disappear last year. Heck, we even had a few that checked in on their team thread and then disappeared which makes it practically impossible for the team to get a replacement.
Maybe next year we could run a side contest using a draft system. Have X amount of teams, and X amount of hunters on said teams, and have a draft pool of forum regulars, or with a good post count.
Either way, I'm looking forward to being on the team that puts the Orion Syndicate out of their misery!
