UPDATED: Alright here we go - we wanted every team to have at least 3 team members so we had to combine some states. I basically tried to pair members with less than 3 participants to states in the closest proximity to them that also had less than 3 participants. The only exception to this was the first one listed Connecticut & Arkansas obviously - it was the only way you will get along great! Rules will be out by tomorrow more then likely by tonight. Still trying to figure out how to break up 1 man teams to make it fair.
The guys with out more then 3 will be assigned to a team soon. Check thread with states posted it will be edited.
Rules are best 3 bucks scored. If you have ability to shoot a second buck you have 48 hours to have your team vote on weather or not to keep it. If you decide not to keep it then you can not go back to it if you get nothing bigger it’s eliminated. The same goes with states with over 3 guys the team has 48 hours to vote to pass or keep deer. The 48 hours is from midnight on date of kill. Each state needs to make a thread to post in. We will moderate it. Need to have all the same info as regular contest along with pictures. You can include link to regular contest so you don’t have to type it twice. Please have a team captain so it doesn’t get confusing. We will make a scoring thread. Good luck everyone and have fun. I liked the average score so the 1-2 hunter states got a shot. Any other ideas? Kind of screws up the point by just randomly placing them on other states' teams.
could, sure- but Indiana has some MONSTERS roaming around. I grew up in Huntington County and there are several recent booners taken from there.
also, if needed I am willing to swap to rep Michigan...my original home state and I probably spend more days hunting in the MI woods than Wisconsin.
We had to make some decisions this year wot the 1 and 2 man teams to be able to join. We have had lots of suggestions and this is what we came up with. We will see how well it does and make needed changes for next year. We put the one man guy on closest state to them to try to keep it some what fair. Hopefully we can get 3 from each state for next year. The reason we did the vote and not an average is because the states with lots of guys will have to make a decision on what to keep knowing they may or may not get a bigger buck especially early season. This makes it more interesting and also keeps it some what fair.
That works. Not sure who's really running the show here so including @sycamoretwitch on this- Take another look at Mass/Maryland You have the word 'Michigan' thrown in there like it's a member name (it's not) then 1 hunter from MI (Arch) and 1 from Maryland (Holt) but none from Mass. I'm confused. Again if it helps I will switch to MI as I hunt there a lot.
