Wonder what everyone’s best tips are for shed hunting, I wrote an article collecting what I could find but let me know if I missed something!

Have you noticed it being a strange year? I'm not finding much this year in normal locations. Having a hard time locating the bucks this year.

Been a little awol lately. Lost my phone for a few days. Wife gave birth to a beaut of a baby boy so time is limited. Been scouting some and picking up some good ones. Don’t have many pics from field cause of the lost phone issue but here are a few I found in the past couple weeks. A few dandy’s and a few up and comers lol 2EDA46DE-FFD2-4A53-BD48-56E56753114B.jpeg 3BFEEB21-ACB9-4A2A-9F8F-54DC917141D8.jpeg 88DF21D7-F9C6-47A2-B7B5-86A70A6E04F8.jpeg 97F5494B-5D56-4B30-B6DD-B6D4F9617134.jpeg CE772DFF-43E8-4EF4-A609-0165B65B4A05.jpeg D81E4C41-DE50-4EBD-8D05-EDF6614A730C.jpeg E67F44A4-4AE0-4863-94D0-F5FE0FC1ECA2.jpeg

Most of ours are still holding. Not sure if it is due to the warm weather or what. No snow for us yet this year.

Yeah same here. I did just pick 2 fresh ones about 30 minutes ago. I walked this spot alittle over a week ago, and they weren't there then.

#10-#12 - 1 fresh and 1 old set without many chew marks surprisingly.

#3 & #4 for the day. 2 fresh spikes! Picked up in the first 30 minutes and didn't find anything else the rest of the day. [IMG][IMG]

Week from tomorrow I head to SD for my annual long weekend shed hunt/drink beer with my buddy! Won't get my hopes up that it'll be as good as last year but I can't wait!

    Still nut deep snow here.
    Gonna wait a bit.
I hate going too early and then going back over the same ground again.

Found a stud 5 pt the other day along with an old dink. Measured and got 70 1/8 although I may be off some here or there. If it is over 70, that is my second largest ever.

What a beast! Dream shed for me! It's a rare thing to find a main frame 4 pt shed to break over 70". Great find, now time to match it up!

Nice deadhead...his girlfriends were loyal though, still bedded about 20 yards from him. Looks like the tree limb may have fell and killed him although I feel like he should have been able to get out from under it. It wasn't that heavy so it may have fallen after the fact.
