This guy is becoming a regular visitor to my spot in Ohio. Hope he hangs out there for another few weeks. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Good lord man! That would be keeping me up at night and checking for pictures first thing in the morning. I hope he sticks around for you Jim.
Not prepared at all. I'm going to try to get some trimming done and some stands moved over the next two weeks...
Moved a stand, shot my bow for 1 1/2 hours yesterday. Pulled a card. Got a picture of a buck that was only around for maybe a week in October last year and never saw him again. Hopefully he hangs around longer this year. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

My God Dude! What a difference a state makes. Being your neighbor to the north in Michigan, it stuns our imagination to see all these pics of quality deer in Ohio year after year. Quality Michigan bucks are a small fraction of what you guys have down there - we have similar numbers of deer I believe but again, only a small fraction of them make it to 3 years old. Ohio's deer managers are definately doing something right, be thankful for what you got! Awesome pics!
Amen brother! The dilemma has been "how" to stop an entire state from that mentality? It has to be "institutionally" or agency mandated and there just don't seem to be the will to do so. We do have a disadvantage that a lot of other states don't have - Michigan has the single largest tracts of Federal lands east of the Mississippi, which attracts a lot of out of state hunters who I would guess are more concerned with being successful than maintaining a more mature herd. A bachelor group like your picture shows is a rare sight in most places in Michigan.
Discovered a piebald on same property. If I can bag both of these deer it would be the best season of my life Mathews HTR, Sword 5 pin, Truball release, Goldtip XT hunter 300, QAD 125 gr Swept, QAD rest
