Going to Ohio this weekend to put out cameras and inspect tree stands. Putting out some of the Cuddelink cameras and a few more. Hope the system works. If not the 9 hour trip will be a little disappointing, but I can review when go back in October.
Vinton and Jackson county hunter here. Mainly public land but do have a 130 acre prime farm to hunt also. We have some decent deer on cam but no giants. I bumped a giant on public out of a small secluded clear cut two weeks ago. Its not on satellite immagry so thinking its maybe two years old. He's got it tore up all the way around it and I hung a cam on him in hopes of getting some pics. Sent from my LML212VL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
May e checking cards and filling feeder on Saturday hopefully have some pics for everyone 2016 bear escape Black eagle spartan Rage hypodermic
Huron county checking in. Just put cameras out today. Due to the extremely wet spring my lease was never planted in beans and corn. Hopefully he will get some winter wheat planted at some point. To make matters worse 30 acres of the woods will be logged this fall. Good thing I love a challenge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good luck brother, sry about the logging out but those tree tops make great cover Mathews HTR, Sword 5 pin, Truball release, Goldtip XT hunter 300, QAD 125 gr Swept, QAD rest
That clearcut or select cut will be your best friend in a couple years. If not next year! Good luck man Sent from my LML212VL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Most of us public land guys are scared to death to post where we hunt So I’ll just say that I’m in Columbus and drive anywhere from 25 minutes to 2 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here's another pic of the buck I'm calling "Mr. Brows." The other pic is him back in June, I think. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Supposed warm up a little midweek.. but cool and dry again next weekend. I’m knocking out all my last minute stuff this weekend (hopefully) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Already did lol the get together is like 8 miles from me hahaha theres so many public land options though and as far as pressure its almost nothing compared to most areas. At least until gun season. I don't mind sharing. Honestly I try to get people to hunt with me all the time and they look at me like I have two heads when I say I hunt public. They never show Sent from my LML212VL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
What kills me is I would like to have a bow hunting partner to go hunting with regularly with and share camp with but nowadays hard to come by. Back in school there was always a big group of us that hunted. Not like that anymore, and let’s face it , I’ve already tried to recruit the wife and that is a lost cause Mathews HTR, Sword 5 pin, Truball release, Goldtip XT hunter 300, QAD 125 gr Swept, QAD rest
Man all my buddies won't hunt unless they have a pile of corn infront of them or driving in gun season. I'm a loner down here my dad will hunt the one private farm I can hunt with me but when it comes to, when im actually hunting hunting, being out on public its a wasteland lol. Im actually filming this year so I can show people the kinds of hunts i have to entice them to hunt with me hahaha sad! Sent from my LML212VL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Can’t wait to see some of those videos! We don’t have much public around me here in northern Ohio. I know what you mean about getting a hunting buddy. I just picked up 3 more woods to hunt last week only a month away guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll see what i can do. Idk much about editing and the free editors suck lol depending on what kind of season I have I might pay for one and make quality videos. If not I'll still post what I capture on here. Really excited about it. Nothing fancy but fun none the less. Sent from my LML212VL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
