So a question for you NFL fanatics.

Should Green Bay trade Jordan Love to prove to Rodgers that they are "all in" with him at QB?

Along with that, work a contract extension with him so that Adams commits to a new contract?

They do not need to trade Love nor do they need to do an extension Aaron is under contract for 2 more years. If I redid Aarons contract any raise would be tied to playoff victories.

    I would, lol.

If we were healthy we would be the best team in football, the defense is top 5 with a bunch of 2nd and 3rd team players. Imagine if the core was all playing? We need to keep this roster together as much as possible.

Was thinking that the extension would be along the lines of what Brady did a few times. Spread his money out so that the team had more cap space to keep the core.

I do like incentive contracts but I think victories is probably not the main one. A GB can only carry a team so far. The defense has to do their part as well.

Seems like it is getting rare for a team to win the SB if the QB is not on his original rookie deal. Look at Seattle since Russ got his deal, KC since Pat got his deal.

Perfect examples of teams getting gutted by their $30 million/year QB. Seattle’s top 5 ALL TIME defense is awful now, and KC can’t do anything on offense because you only have to cover 2 players and rush the QB. Things are only going to get worse for both.

That’s honestly why GB and Rodgers is sooooo impressive. They paid him and remained in contention longer than any of the other fad teams. San Fran, Atlanta, Seattle, KC…all irrelevant and yet GB keeps chugging along.

I don’t want to talk about Brady.

We don't have to. The sad truth, as much as anyone wants to hate him, is that he has not, and will not ever be a top 5 paid QB because he understands the concept of working a contract to keep a SB team together. When the leader of the team sets that example, it doesn't take long for many other players to follow suit.

I am not pissed about the Packers being 2 receivers down, it is going to happen to every team this season.

he may get away with it IF and only IF these players are special.. like in the 90's, every team knew what the cowboys would do, yet they couldn't stop it.

I had to laugh when they started criticizing his clock management, no ****. Every NFL team should have a clock management coordinator.

Pittsburgh may rattle off 4 in a row before they hit the heart of their schedule.

I’d rather have them vs Arizona than Kansas City though. I could play receiver against the Chiefs. We need this game for home field advantage.

Is helps when your wife is worth more Mandy than you will ever be. Most other NFL players don’t have that luxury.

It’s easy to say they are greedy but if the shoe was on the other foot I’m sure we would all try and maximize our earnings.

The shoe is on the other foot. Most people want to maximize their earnings, and I have no qualms with that. But if your motives are different, in this case winning championships as opposed to making the most money, then it would make sense that he isn't after making the most money in the NFL.
Brady didn't even marry giselle until 2009. He took over for Bledsoe in 2001, and had been to the SB 4 times before she came along.
So he already knew what he needed to do.
