I'll never increase or drop my standards for a virtual title, I don't even know what I'm hunting other than whitetail deer

Never been on a team someone dropped their goal to fit a contest need. Been a year or two I silently wished someone would  , but would never ask nor expect someone to do so.

I spend most of my season in the Live From the Stand thread, but stay active with my team as well.

Both threads help to keep yourself motivated and maybe give or get that little push needed to sit one more day of a grind when things seem against you.

I’ve never shot a buck with a bow. And the only buck I ever did kill I tripped into him.

I oughta be good for a 50 point doe though.

Well with hunting Kansas, Mississippi and Louisiana, I think I’m good for 180.

I’m just hunting in Iowa this year. I should be good for 100 points!

I'd rather be pleasantly surprised by being wrong than highly disappointed expecting differently.

It'll vary by region and have mild stretches as always, but we're looking at a likely La Nina winter which isn't the greatest for most.

The hunting could be amazing and you would still find something to be negative about! Hahahaha

Only negative you would hear then is daylight is too damn short

I just get impatient, especially when I am the only one on the property.

I'm starting to like my luck the past 4 years, '16, '17 and '19 I had a buck down super early. Didn't have time for discouragement and they were by far my best bucks to date

I wouldn’t either. In fact because of your success story I’ve contemplated copying you!

If it doesn't work, it still feels pretty damn good to let off some steam

Las Niñas are only worth 50pts. I guess that is better than nothing, but I imagine your teammates would prefer it if you shot El Niño instead.

La Niñas may promote further antler growth while hunter awaits a better pattern, yet El Niño could prohibit late season hunting.

Both benefit the buck, but deter the hunter.
